Front door nameplate

A door nameplate with house number is the landmark of your home. The house number on the house number sign marks the correct address, the nameplate tells you who lives there. At StoryTiles you can choose from different designs, various styles and striking color combinations. So you'll always find a nameplate that fits your style! With a name, first names, initials or a short text, you can give your front door a warm personal touch. You can order hanging plates with it for outdoor use.

Ceramic tile as a nameplate next to the front door

Many people are familiar with the different standard materials of nameplates such as aluminum nameplates, a stainless steel nameplate, versions of brushed aluminum, plexiglass, dibond or slate. StoryTiles offers a unique assortment of ceramic nameplates. A front door name sign from StoryTiles is made in the Netherlands from high quality ceramic. The tiles are suitable for outdoor use and retain their quality in all weathers. Thus, our name plates are resistant to various weather conditions such as rain, cold, heat and frost. The result is a door nameplate that will last a lifetime. The prerequisite is that you order the corresponding hanging plate with it, or find a sturdy solution yourself to fix the nameplate outside. The hanging hook on the back of the tile is for indoor use only.

Personalized name plate with name and house number

Many house numbers you see on facades are primarily functional. A standard plate with numbers, sometimes supplemented with a small metal name plate in silver or anthracite. Practical, but rarely personalized. At StoryTiles you can fully personalize a nameplate, think about adding a family name, initials, street name or even your pet's name. Have your family name baked in under the house number sign with name, or choose to give all the names of your family members a place on the sign. This will make your nameplate a recognizable and warm welcome for everyone who rings your doorbell. The text is not printed or engraved, but baked onto the tile. This makes the name sign suitable for outdoor use and resistant to rain, sun, frost and temperature changes.

Making your own nameplate

Through our webshop you can easily create a door nameplate online. You select a design, choose the desired size and enter your text. Think of your family name, initials, house number or a short sentence. This way you turn a practical sign into a personal detail at your front door and facade. Within the assortment you will find different styles, fonts and sizes. Whether you like classic, modern or floral: you select what best suits your home and taste. Would you prefer a house number without a name, but with a beautiful design? That too is possible.

Nameplate to match your home!

Every home has its own look and feel. A subtle floral border or Delft blue design looks great on a 1930s home. A clean design with quiet typography goes well with a modern facade. Country homes combine nicely with nameplates with birds, flowers or butterflies. The hand-fired ceramics and glossy glaze give each sign a rich look. Because our tiles are hand-fired, no two are exactly alike, which makes your nameplate unique.

Nameplate house as a personal gift

A house nameplate is a special and personal gift for someone who has just moved, for a housewarming or for someone starting a new chapter. A ceramic door nameplate will remain visible next to the front door for years. With a personalized nameplate, you give something that truly suits the recipient. Have the family name and house number baked into the ceramic, or add a short text appropriate to the new home. It shows that you've thought about the gift. Whether it's a housewarming, cohabitation or the purchase of a first home, a nameplate as a gift is a small gesture that leaves a lasting impression.

Nameplate mounts next to front door

You can mount your house number name sign on almost any solid surface such as concrete, brick, acrylic, slate, brushed surfaces, stucco or wood. You mount a name sign easily with our hanging system. This system consists of two wooden spacers: one part is attached to the back of the tile with mounting adhesive and the other part is screwed into the wall with plugs and screws. Then you simply hook the sign in place. This creates a blind attachment and the nameplate appears to subtly float off the wall. If you have your own way of attaching the nameplate outside, that is of course also possible. This is because the hanging hook on the back of all our tiles is only suitable for indoor use.
