A tile tableau is a set of several ceramic tiles that together form one design spread across the tiles, as a beautiful painting of tiles on your wall. A tile tableau is an eye-catcher in your home. Each tableau consists of hand-fired ceramic tiles measuring 10x10 or 13x13 cm. The illustrations flow smoothly from one tile to another, creating a unique whole. Our tile tableaus are a modern ode to the traditional tile walls you used to see in Dutch kitchens, fireplaces and bathrooms, but with a fresh and contemporary twist. Tile tableau in your interior

Our tile tableaus are regularly tiled between blank tiles, so that they completely blend into a tiled wall or niche. This creates an attractive whole where the tableau is a real eye-catcher on a wall with blank tiles. Think of a tableau in the back wall of the kitchen, in the bathroom wall, or as a work of art in a toilet. With a tile tableau you bring a piece of craftsmanship, history and personality into your home. They are not standard wall decorations, but real works of ceramic art that continue to surprise and last for generations. Besides tiling, you can also hang a tile tableau just like our normal StoryTiles. On each of the tiles of the tableau is a hanging hook. (Which, by the way, you can take off if you do start tiling the tiles).

Each tile from StoryTiles is a small work of art with its own story. Our tile tableaus consist of a set of 2 to 6 tiles in Small (10x10 cm) or Medium (13x13 cm) size. The illustrations run across the tiles and together form one visual whole: a combination between past and present, heritage and design. This way you not only give your wall more character, but you also add a piece of storytelling to your interior.

A tile tableau from StoryTiles is hand fired in the Netherlands, making it truly unique. The tiles are heat and water resistant, making it suitable for kitchens and bathrooms and will last for generations. If you order before 4 p.m., we will ship your tile the same day!
