Tile Holder

A tile holder, also known as a stand, beautifully displays your tile and keeps it securely in place. Tile holders are the perfect accessory if you prefer not to hang your tile using the standard hook on the back of every StoryTile. A holder made of wood or brass allows a single tile or multiple tiles to be showcased in a stylish way. Choose the material that best matches your interior.

Tile stand for your ceramic tile

In our Tile Holders & Frames collection, you’ll find various types of tile holders. The standard StoryTiles holder is designed for a single tile (Small or Medium). For displaying multiple tiles, there is the Family Holder, available in 34 cm and 46 cm. We also offer the StoryShelf, a wall-mounted shelf in the same sizes, perfect for placing tiles on.

For all tile sizes, frames are available as a wall-mounting solution. Some people also refer to these as “tile hangers”. Framing your tile enhances its appearance even further, making the design truly stand out.

A decorative way to display your tile

Tiles don’t have to be hung, they can also be displayed upright using a tile holder. Ideal spots include a windowsill, bookshelf or side table. Because our accessories are available in both wood and gold finishes, you can choose what best complements your interior style.

A tile holder highlights the illustration and creates a different effect than hanging. When displayed in a stand, your tile naturally draws attention among other objects in your home. Combine multiple tiles by hanging a small group on the wall or pairing them with a shelf. If you have a series of tiles that belong together, such as birth tiles or tiles marking important life moments, the Family Holder is the perfect choice.

Tile holders in different designs

When we describe StoryTiles, we often say: “Hang it, Frame it, Hold it”. In other words, hang the tile using the hook and a small nail, frame it using one of our frames or place it in a tile holder.

Our collection includes frames and holders specifically designed to present ceramic tiles in an elegant way. We especially love how Delft blue tiles look in wooden frames, these combinations are often featured in our photoshoots. Floral designs, such as Flowers say it all or Happiness in a basket, look beautiful in our Golden Holdie Flower.

Frames are available in multiple sizes, while holders come in various shapes such as hearts, stars and flowers. These accessories add an extra decorative touch, making tiles shine whether displayed on the wall or standing on a surface.

Tile holders made of wood or gold (shiny brass)

In addition to accessories made from natural, untreated FSC-certified wood, we also offer golden tile holders. Our golden accessories, called Golden Holdies and Golden Stands, are handcrafted from beautifully polished brass and are available for Small and Medium tiles. The stands are also suitable for Large tiles.

They come in a variety of decorative shapes, including flowers, stars, birds, and hearts, ensuring a perfect match for every tile design. Whether you choose gold or wood, orders placed before 4:00 PM are delivered the next day, ensuring fast and reliable delivery from stock.

Tile hanger for the wall

A tile holder for the wall, often called a tile hange, is what we refer to as a frame. Our frames are available for Small, Medium and Large tiles, allowing you to beautifully frame your chosen design.

Each frame includes four Velcro strips, which you attach to the back of the tile and the inside of the frame. This allows you to easily place the tile inside the frame. The frame uses a shadow-box style design, meaning the tile does not touch the edges, allowing it to stand out even more.
