The making process

StoryTiles are hand baked in the Netherlands. The tiles are made of high-quality ceramic and are finished with a glossy layer of glaze.

Much of the collection can be personalized with name, date or a short piece of text.

StoryTiles are available in Small and Medium. A selection is also available in Large.

Small: 10x10 cm, thickness 1 cm
Medium: 13x13 cm, thickness 1 cm
Large: 20x20 cm, thickness 1 cm

StoryTiles consist of a set of 2 to 6 Small or Medium tiles, which together form a tile artwork.

StoryTiles are heat and water resistant and therefore can also be used for tiling.

Packaging:
StoryTiles are standard packed in a sturdy cardboard packaging. Each tile has its own title on the back of the packaging.
Protective paper is wrapped around the tile and it is shipped in an appropriate shipping box.

Product Description

On the birth tile "Finally You're Here!" by StoryTiles, an astronaut in a white moon suit plants a triangular flag on the moon, half green and half pink, on a spherical lunar surface with small craters here and there. Just as the first man on the moon marked a historic step with a flag, this tile celebrates the birth of a new citizen of the world. We bake the name and date of birth at the top left of the tile.

StoryTiles bakes this tile by hand in Holland from high quality ceramic at high temperature, so the colors and letters are really baked in and it stays beautiful for years due to the glossy glaze.

With the hanging hook on the back you can easily hang it on the wall and you can also place it on a shelf or in a tile holder. Available in Small (10x10 cm) and Medium (13x13 cm).
